February 8, 2024 – The Saints edged past the St. Johns River State College Vikings in the first game of last Tuesday’s doubleheader. A late-game double pushed the Saints to victory, 5-4.
The second game was a thriller when both teams unleashed their offense on each other. The Saints tried to overtake the Vikings in the final inning, but could not, losing 12-11.
“This was a hard-fought doubleheader,” Saints Head Coach Savanah Webster said. “It was great to see the bats come alive and timely hitting with a lot of good offensive output.”
The Saints will travel to the state capital to face Tallahassee Community College today at 3 p.m.
