Today's Events for Provost Finalist Dr. J. Nathaniel Southerland

January 25, 2024 – Provost finalist candidate Dr. J. Nathaniel "Nate" Southerland wraps up his two-day visit to the college today, and there are several opportunities for the college community to interact with him.

 

A student forum will be held in the Building S lobby today from 1:15 until 2 p.m. Students can meet the candidate and ask questions about how he could impact the college moving forward. There will also be pizza provided for students who attend. Faculty and staff are encouraged to let students know about this opportunity.

Shortly after the student forum, there will be a collegewide forum beginning at 2:30 p.m. in R-001. The college community is invited to ask questions and provide feedback on Dr. Southerland. AGB Search, the consulting firm helping with the search process has set up an online form via the QR code at the bottom of this article for your input.

The day will wrap up with a Community Social from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in R-001. In addition to students, faculty and staff, community partners are invited to attend and meet the candidate. For more information on the search process, visit the Provost Search webpage.
