ICYMI: SF Week in Review for Jan. 6-12

January 13, 2024 – The spring term has begun! Here's some SF news you might have missed:

• The first College Senate Executive Council meeting of the year happened Jan. 9: Topics included administrative guidelines, classroom safety protocols and more.

• The SF Saints Men's and Women's Basketball teams hosted Daytona State College on Jan. 10: Despite dropping both games, Saints Basketball looks forward with renewed grit.

• The Learning Commons will offer students two critical workshops: "Navigating Your Syllabus: A Student's Guide" and "Study Smarter, Not Harder" are open for registration.

• Faculty and staff can sign up for Mental Health First Aid Training: The program takes place on Friday, Jan. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Building S, Rooms 29/30.

• North Central Florida TRIO Talent Search celebrates 30 years and over 4,000 graduates: The program provides guidance for high school students to enroll in the college or university of their choice.
