SF Saints Fall to the Pirates

December 4, 2023 – The SF Saints Men's Basketball team went into Saturday's game against the Pensacola State College Pirates hoping to turn their recent misfortune around. However, the Pirates did not cooperate with those plans.

The Saints showed early promise, taking the early lead. The Pirates' size and strength quickly came into play as they attacked the basket and never let up. Pensacola State College won 68-57.

"We had positive moments on both ends, but just not enough," Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said. "We've got a big week ahead with final exams and a game at Florida Gateway on Thursday night.

The Saints play two road games, including Thursday's battle against Florida Gateway College, before returning home Saturday, Dec. 16 to host Florida State College at Jacksonville.
