Pride Month 2022
May 17, 2022
Pride Month 2022 Calendar: June 1-30
Pride Month is celebrated every June as a tribute to those who were involved in the Stonewall Riots. The first Pride march in New York City was held on June 28, 1970, on the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riot. Commemorations and memorials are also held for members of the community who have lost their lives to hate crimes and HIV/AIDS.

We wish to stress that being LGBTQIA+ is NOT a mental health issue, but the familial, relational, and societal factors that they face can certainly be a stress that negatively impacts their mental health.
