For me, I have no connection with people that are considered AAPI, but I think every race should have their respective appreciation month, just like BHM is in February, Women Month is in March, and LGBTQ+ is June. For me, AAPI is nothing special, but I do think it must be special for a person to have a month in which they are being taken into account.
