SF's MarCom Brings Home Four National Awards
May 3, 2022
Santa Fe College's Marketing & Communications (MarCom) picked up four Paragon Awards from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR). The Paragon Awards are given to recognize outstanding achievement in design and communications at two-year colleges across the country and is the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges. This year, 232 colleges submitted a total of 1,719 entries
SF received a gold award in the category of best digital marketing campaign for Explore Your Work Personality, which used short, engaging videos of animals from the SF Teaching Zoo to drive viewers to take the Holland occupational test on Career Coach, and to explore new career options at SF's Career Exploration Center. The campaign was recognized for its ingenuity as it was largely developed during the pandemic when the college was primarily closed to humans, but still home to our animals.
SF also picked up three bronze awards for the college's Instagram social media outlet, unmanipulated photography from a photo shoot at the Institute of Public Safety and a print ad that was part of the college's annual If UF then SF campaign that kicks off each February.
Earlier in the year, SF picked up seven NCMPR Medallion Awards, which are presented regionally. In addition to the four that were recognized nationally, the college was also recognized for its promotion of Elements of Style, Room to Dance and the emoji campaign.
Congratulations to the MarCom staff!
