SF's Office of Admissions Named Finalist For Prestigious Salesforce Summit Award For Record-Setting Fifth Time
March 12, 2022
March 12, 2022 - For the unprecedented fifth time in six years, Santa Fe College has been recognized as a finalist for the Salesforce Summit Award. The award is presented each year to outstanding, trailblazing higher education institutions for their work with products developed by the Nasdaq-traded company, Salesforce.com. Salesforce is known as a leader in cloud computing, and the development of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
SF became the first community college, and the smallest institution ever, to win the award in 2019 when SF's International Student Services group was honored for its use of Salesforce to boost international enrollment.
This year, Salesforce chose SF's Office of Admissions as a finalist for the Summit Award for Excellence in Recruitment and Admissions Innovation, citing SF's work in the digital workflow, data collection and engagement systems developed to support the college's new SF Achieve program.
SF Achieve is designed to remove barriers for students and transform the college-going experience by providing in-district high school students with direct mentoring in schools and a scholarship to attend SF. The use of Salesforce is helping to remove those barriers by managing student data and routing inquiries, sign-ups and follow-up communication. That data is then shared with SF's student information system for SF Achieve participants to complete requirements and eventually enroll at the college.
SF has been utilizing Salesforce for eight years, and is the only institution ever to be named a finalist for the Summit Award more than twice. Previous finalist distinctions recognized enrollment gains tracked by the Salesforce team in the Office of Admissions, graduation success with the Finish at the Top program, the college's annual Open House event and International Student Services' award-winning recognition three years ago.
The other institutions named as finalists for the award this year are Louisiana State University and Iowa State University. An open vote for the winner of the award by Salesforce institutions is currently being held, so make sure to vote for SF now and by Wednesday, March 16, through the Salesforce Voting Guide at https://reg.rainfocus.com/surveys/salesforce/edusummit22/1646059781639001o6to.
The winner of the award will be announced at Salesforce's annual Education Summit, which will be held virtually this year in April.
