Here "Today" – Transformed Tomorrow
February 15, 2022
February 15, 2022 – By the end of this week, the way that Saints access news about Santa Fe College will be transformed.
A new streamlined newSFeed will bring student, employee and community news to one central location. Daily visitors will find enriching content about our people, places and programs, including podcast episodes, athletics highlights, and our long-running Saints of Santa Fe series. A dynamic calendar will make it easier for students and employees to keep track of important dates and for the community to find and share enriching things to do around the college.
"I am very excited about the upgrade to our news page," SF President Paul Broadie II said. "This news page provides a centralized place to access news and information about our college."
The legacy of the Today@SantaFe will continue in the form of a morning email sent out by the college communications manager, with daily headlines for employees and subscribers. Student Life will continue to send out the weekly digest, ThisWeek@SantaFe, which keeps students informed of new opportunities for involvement, leadership and service.
The concept and design of the newSFeed has been a long-term project in Marketing & Communications (MarCom). It was kicked into high gear after President Broadie saw a demo version. "This newsfeed will further enhance awareness of the many great things occurring at Santa Fe and highlight the many opportunities to take part at events across the college," Broadie said. "It is engaging and inviting. It enables our college community and the community at large to easily access information and remain informed and engaged in the many facets of our college."
Although the newSFeed is brand new, you'll still access it at sfcollege.edu/news, or by clicking on the College News link in the blue header at the top of the college website (or on the top menu if you're on your phone).
If you have news about your department, or a college event you would like to see on the college calendar, you can still email today@sfcollege.edu. If you know a Saint who would be great to feature, visit sfcollege.edu/marcom/ to submit a nomination.
