Transgender Day of Remembrance 2021
November 17 at 12:23 p.m.
On Thursday, November 18th, the Santa Fe LGBTQ+ Resource Center will mark Transgender Day of Remembrance with
an information table and altar in the S-Breezeway, 9:00am-12:00pm.
TDoR was founded by Gwendolyn Ann Smith after the 1988 murder of Rita Hester, a transgender
activist in Boston. On this day, we mourn all who are lost to anti-transgender violence,
an epidemic that disproportionately impacts trans women and nonbinary people of color.
Come out, support your queer Santa Fe community, and pay respects to the individuals
who have lost their lives.
We will remember them.
