2021 Racial Equity Institute Trainings at SF

June 4, 2021

June 4, 2021 – Santa Fe College is continuing its partnership with the Racial Equity Institute to offer both the Groundwater and Phase I interactive workshops on the nature and impact of structural racism and what it looks like across institutions. These workshops are no cost for SF employees and students.

"Measuring Racial Inequity: A Groundwater Approach" is a three-hour interactive workshop that will be held Tuesday, June 29, from 9 a.m. until noon.

There will be two sessions of the "Phase I" workshop. This is a much more immersive workshop that builds the capacity of participants to identify the root causes of disparity and establish goals and strategies based on that deeper understanding. These sessions run over two days, Monday and Tuesday, June 21-22, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days and Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 25-26, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.

Although these trainings are free for SF students and employees, the general public can also register for these courses for a $89 fee for the Groundwater training and $375 for the Phase I trainings.
