Registration for 2021 College For Kids Opens May 12
May 6, 2021
May 6, 2021 -The College For Kids (CFK) program is organized by Santa Fe College's Community Education and is designed as an academic program, offering students challenging, fun, hands-on learning experiences beyond the ordinary school environment. This year, CFK will hold a series of one-week sessions beginning Monday, July 12. The camp is open to children between the ages of 10-14, and registration opens Wednesday, May 12.
Last year, the COVID-19 global pandemic forced the CFK program to be held virtually. This time around, students will be back on the Northwest Campus with smaller class sizes and all college safety protocols will be in effect.
CFK is offering nine programs this year, Animal Kingdom, Artists Studio, Broadway Bootcamp, Decorate Your Space, Let's Get Technical, Science Matters, Space Challenge: Galactic Expedition, The Wizarding World and World of Sports. When registering, students should sign up for only one class per week.
Additional information will be provided during a special Zoom student orientation Wednesday, July 7, at noon, but sessions fill quickly, so get your child signed up when registration opens May 12. Due to construction at the Blount Center, registration is online. Learn more about CFK at sfcollege.edu/cfk.
