NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT: The District Board of Trustees of Santa Fe College, Florida,
gives notice of its intent to amend Rule 2.8. TITLE/SUBJECT: Policy Prohibiting Discrimination
and Harassment. PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Modifications to comply with legal and insurance
requirements; updates to reflect changes in college staffing and policies. RULEMAKING
AUTHORITY: FS 1001.64. LAWS IMPLEMENTED: The Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, FS
Chapter 760; Title IX of the Educational Amendment Act of 1972, as amended; Titles
IV, VI, and VII of
the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; The Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization
Act of 2013; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; The Americans with Disabilities
Act of 1990, as amended; The Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008;
