Santa Fe College to Offer EXTRA Transportation Shuttle for Rural Students

***UPDATE (6/15/21) Grant funding for the EXTRA Shuttle will end June 30, 2021. There will be no EXTRA Shuttle after that date.

August 17, 2020 – Santa Fe College and MV Transportation are partnering again to provide rural students who lack transportation with access to SF’s Northwest Campus via the EXTRA Shuttle for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. The EXTRA Shuttle will provide daily round-trip service from rural communities to the Northwest Campus each morning and back each afternoon every weekday when classes are in session at SF.

The EXTRA Shuttle will serve students coming to the Northwest Campus from High Springs and Alachua. The EXTRA Shuttle service is supported by a grant from the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. There are only a limited number of transportation vouchers are available. Current and future students may apply for a transportation voucher at www.sfcollege.edu/extra.

8:15 a.m. – Pick up at High Springs Community Center	2:00 p.m. – Leave Northwest Campus (Building S)
8:25 a.m. – Pick up at Hitchcock’s in Alachua	2:20 p.m. – Drop off at Hitchcock’s in Alachua
8:50 a.m. – Drop off at Northwest Campus (Building S)	2:30 p.m. – Drop off at High Springs Community Center
