Santa Fe College Offers EXTRA Transportation Shuttle for Rural Students

July 31, 2020

MV Transportation and Santa Fe College are partnering again to provide rural students who lack transportation with access to SF's Northwest Campus via the EXTRA Shuttle for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. The EXTRA Shuttle will provide daily round-trip service from three rural communities to the Northwest Campus each morning and back each afternoon every weekday when classes are in session at SF.
There are currently two routes scheduled. One will serve High Springs and Alachua, the other will serve Hawthorne. The EXTRA Shuttle service is supported by a grant from the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. There are only a limited number of transportation vouchers are available. Current and future students may apply for a transportation voucher at www.sfcollege.edu/extra.
