Message from HR Director Lela Frye
March 17, 2020
March 17, 2020 -
Dear SF Faculty and Staff,
As promised, this is a follow up to the message today that the college will be moving operations online. Updates will be provided through college email and the FAQs addressing events related to COVID-19. Please check them often.
All college facilities will be closed to the public until at least March 30, with all support services being offered virtually. In addition, the College has made the decision to continue online instruction through the remainder of the Spring 2020 term.
This takes effect as of 4:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 17, until at least Monday, March 30. During this time, we will take the opportunity to fully clean, disinfect and sanitize the Campus and Centers. We are requesting that you not be on campus unless your supervisor has determined that you need to be here. In the event any SF employee needs to be on our Campus or at our Centers, prior approval from their vice president is required. Individuals will also need to contact the Santa Fe College Police Department at 352-395-5519 prior to entry.
All SF and TempForce employees are expected to continue to work their normal schedule
remotely for the remainder of this week. Expectations for specific assignments and
service to the College during this period will be developed and determined with supervisors.
All remote TempForce assignments must be coordinated through Human Resources Director, Lela Frye.
If you have already been approved to take leave, or would like to request leave during this time, please contact your supervisor.
As staff move to remote working locations, some may be authorized to take college equipment off campus. If your supervisor authorizes you to take equipment home, they will need to record the property number(s). Technical issues should be reported by phone to the ITS Help Desk at 395-5999.
If there are questions related to this information, we encourage you to contact your supervisor. Human Resources is also available to provide assistance at human.resources@sfcollege.edu.
All of these actions have been taken in an abundance of caution with the safety and welfare of our students, faculty and staff as our most important priority. We cannot express strongly enough our appreciation for the resiliency and cooperative spirit of the SF family during this time.
Thank you,
Lela
