Guest Lecturer on Teaching Botany and Ecology in the Brazilian Savannah

January 28, 2020 – Santa Fe College's International Education will host another guest presentation. Dr. Veridiana de Lara Weiser, an ecology and biology professor from Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), will introduce the Brazilian Cerrado, a tropical savannah considered to be the most ecologically rich savannah in the world.
In her presentation, she will explain how she and her colleagues use this habitat to teach students about botany and ecology and raise awareness about the need for conservation.
SF students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the presentation Tuesday, Feb 4, from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. in Building S, Room 29.
