Ginger Gibson Farewell Drop-in Scheduled for October 30

October 23, 2019 – The Santa Fe College family is invited to stop in and wish Vice President Ginger Gibson a fond farewell anytime from 1:30 – 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Office for Finance (Robertson Administration Building, Room F-026) as she moves to a new chapter in her career.

Ginger started with the College in 1996 as a Senior Accountant. She's been the Coordinator for Budget, Director for Business Services, Comptroller, interim Chief Financial Officer (in 2007), and became Vice President and CFO in 2008. During her career at SF, Ginger has served on numerous screening committees, SACS reaffirmation committees, and the Budget Advisory Committees (1999-2005). She also served as the Chair of the Career Service Council (1997-1998) and co-chaired the College's Resource Planning Council (since 2010). Ginger's leadership has also extended statewide. She was named the Community College Outstanding Business Officer for Region 12 (2007), named the Community College International Outstanding Business officer (2007), chaired the Council of Business Affairs (2011-2012), and won the prestigious Ken Jarrett Service Award (2016-2017), which is given to honor one's career contributions to the Florida College System. Over the years in her role as vice president, she has supervised Finance, Purchasing, Facilities, Safety & Risk, Information Technology Services, Human Resources and Financial Aid. She will be greatly missed.
