Santa Fe College Observes Anniversary of MSD Tragedy

February 14, 2019

February 14, 2019 – On this anniversary of an unspeakable tragedy, Santa Fe College stands with the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and the Parkland community. SF is honoring those we lost with a day focused on service and love. It is also a day to recognize the recovery and strength of our staff, students and families.

Broward County Public Schools invites the entire district, community-at-large and beyond, to participate in "A Day of Service and Love" and to observe a moment of silence at 10:17 a.m. We welcome your participation and want to take some time to acknowledge those students that are at colleges and universities and were present and still a part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas family.

SF students struggling with this tragedy or other traumas can speak with someone in the SF Counseling Center. Faculty and staff can use the college's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to find support services.
