Saints of Santa Fe College – James Albury

Humans have always searched for answers to the things in nature we encounter every day. We've asked questions like 'What are the stars?' or 'How does the universe work?' or 'How did everything begin?' and, ultimately, 'What is our role in all of this?' I've always liked the phrase 'Keep looking up!' because, in its basic meaning, it reminds people to look at the sky and observe the wonders happening above us. On a deeper level, some of us interpret it as an encouraging word to 'Always have a positive attitude.' This desire to have a cosmic identity makes science education important for students of all ages. Realizing we are just a small part of a much grander universe can help us appreciate our place in the grand scheme of things and encourage us to make our world a better place.
