SF Professor Terry A. Klenk inducted to FCSAA Hall of Fame for Theatre

October 23, 2018

October 23, 2018 – Santa Fe College Theatre professor Terry Klenk has been selected for induction into the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Hall of Fame class in the Theatre Division. Klenk will be inducted during the 2018 Florida Theatre Conference, which is being held at the SF Fine Arts Hall Oct. 24 – 27.

Klenk, who started as an adjust professor at SF in 1992, is the third Santa Fe College faculty member to be inducted into the FCSAA Hall of Fame. "It's a great honor to be placed alongside one of my mentors here at SF, Ann Scroggie," Klenk said about his upcoming induction. "We worked together on forensics and I had a state champion Reader's Theatre with her, so it means a lot to be placed in the Hall of Fame for Theatre!"

SF Fine Arts department chair Alora Haynes also had high praise for Klenk, saying "As the chair of Fine Arts, it is important for me to be able to tell our students, and our incoming faculty that Terry Klenk brings to the table a history of high caliber work for the FCSAA. The organization recognizes his plays annually, with superior ratings."

Haynes also added that new faculty members "look to Terry for advice on curriculum and institutional knowledge of how theatre can be supported in a two year college system."

Terry, congratulations again on your selection to the FCSAA Hall of Fame!
