May 29, 2018

May 29, 2018 – Wednesday morning, a moving crew will be on the Santa Fe College Northwest Campus to move a new Habitat for Humanity house to its permanent location. This is the eighth house built by students in SF's Construction and Technical programs in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity.

Students studying to enter the fields of carpentry, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, work alongside crews from Habitat as well as the family who will ultimately become the home's new owners to construct the new facility.

Moving crews are set to be at the Charles R. Perry Construction Institute (Building O) by 8 a.m. Wednesday, and the first half of the home should be on its way to its permanent location off Archer Road by 9 a.m.
