50+ Jobseekers Invited to Attend Workshops May 7-9

May 1, 2018 – BACK TO WORK 50+ jobseeker workshops will be held May 7-9 around Alachua County. The program helps older workers update job search strategies, practice for interviewing and networking, and enroll in training programs that employers value. To register for one of the upcoming sessions, call toll free (855) 850-2525, or just show up to attend the 7 Smart Strategies for 50+ Jobseekers Workshop. Participants will get an AARP Foundation free job search guide and learn about smart strategies for job searching after age 50.
The workshops will be held on the following dates and locations:
- Monday, May 7, 2018, 2 - 4 p.m. at the Senior Recreation Center, 5701 NW 34th Street, Gainesville
- Tuesday, May 8, 2018, 2 – 4 p.m. at the SF Northwest Campus, 3000 NW 83rd St., Gainesville, Building I Room 49
- Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Alachua County Library Branch, 14913 NW 140th Street, Alachua
