April 19, 2018 – Santa Fe College experienced a campus-wide power outage early Wednesday morning. Gainesville Regional Utilities was able to fix the issue within an hour and power was restored to the Northwest Campus by 8:30 a.m.
SF mathematics professor Lorisha Riley was undaunted by the lack of power for her 8 a.m. trigonometry class and brought her students outside to the courtyard by Building L to conduct her class.
A creative solution, and with the beautiful weather, a perfect opportunity to have class outside!
