More Severe Weather on Tap Tuesday

April 10, 2018 – Several inches of rain fell throughout the day Monday, with the Gainesville Regional Airport reporting 4.31 inches or rain by the early evening hours. A similar forecast is projected for today. Santa Fe College students, faculty and staff are advised to use extreme caution while traveling to and from all SF property.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a flood warning for Alachua and Bradford counties, as well as several other counties in the surrounding area through midnight. The area is expected see heavy downpours through the late afternoon today, with localized flooding possible.

The SF Emergency Management team is monitoring the storm and will provide updates as necessary.
