SF Softball: Moll Homers Three Times, Saints Split with St. John's River State

April 9, 2018 – Bailee Moll was in the zone Sunday afternoon, blasting three home runs in game one of a doubleheader against St. John's State, collecting six hits and eight RBI in all between the two games.
Despite the three homers from Moll in game one, the Vikings outlasted the Saints 9-8, using four SF errors to get there. Emily Yakel also homered for SF.
In game two Alison Sievers came up big in the circle for the Saints, holding SJRSC to just one run early in the game, shutting them out over the final five innings to lead Santa Fe to victory.
Moll drove in three more runs in game two. Santa Fe moves to 27-24-2 overall and 7-13 in Mid-Florida Conference play.
SF will hit the road Tuesday, April 10, for a double header with Lake Sumter State College at 2:30 p.m. SF will wrap up their MFC season at home Saturday, April 14, against Central Florida at 1 p.m.
The MFC Tournament is scheduled to begin April 18. The second, third, and fourth place teams in the conference will battle it out for the second spot at the FCSAA Tournament. The conference champions will get an automatic bid.
