Celebrate the Spectrum on World Autism Day Today

April 2, 2018

April 2, 2018 – Santa Fe College invites all students, faculty and staff to take part in World Autism Day Monday, April 2, 2018. SF's Spectrum of Success program will be hosting "Celebrate the Spectrum" with events beginning at 10 a.m. in Building S, Room 29 and the S- Breezeway.

Spectrum of Success is comprised of students who are on the autism spectrum. These students are intelligent, creative and detail-oriented problem solvers who add to the diversity of the college.

This event will feature presentations and panel discussions with autism experts, as well as community and businesses and organizations. A human puzzle piece group photo project will begin at noon in S- Breezeway. SF students, faculty and staff wearing blue are encouraged to be a part of the puzzle piece photo as we celebrate with students on the spectrum. There will also be free pizza for SF students wearing blue.

Join us in celebrating and learning about people with autism and their amazing gifts!
