AFC Hurricane Relief Efforts Include Silent Auction

September 29, 2017

AFC Hurricane Relief Fund for members

September 29, 2017 - The Association of Florida Colleges is big on giving back to the community and selects a service project for all major events. The 2017 Annual Conference's service project will benefit those Key West residents who were severely impacted by Hurricane Irma. We have also started a Hurricane Relief Fund available to all AFC members affected by the storm.

There are several ways you can help:

  1. You can donate physical items.
  2. You can make a financial donation to the AFC Hurricane Relief Fund.
  3. You can make an item donation to the silent auction.

Each year at the annual conference, there is a silent auction. Anyone can bid in the auction, not just those in attendance. All proceeds from the silent auction this year are going to hurricane relief efforts. Silent auction items include artwork, gift baskets, vacation packages, sports memorabilia, jewelry, ipads and more.

Donations can be made to Tom Mason in Building O, Room 127. For more information about items to donate, call Tom at x5362 or tom.mason@sfcollege.edu

Financial donations can be made at http://www.myafchome.org/afc-member-hurricane-relief
