Safe Santa Fe Week Events at SF Northwest Campus

September 1, 2017 – As the fall semester entered its second week, the events associated with Safe Santa Fe began. Safe Santa Fe, which is sponsored by the Santa Fe College Police Department, SF Student Life and SF Counseling Center, is designed to give students, faculty and staff all of the information they will need to be aware of their surroundings and know who to contact if trouble arises. Safe Santa Fe has been raising awareness about safety on the Northwest Campus as well as the centers in Alachua and Bradford counties. Thursday's event, held on the Northwest Campus, was attended by members of Alachua County Fire Rescue, Gainesville Fire Rescue, the Alachua County Sheriff's Office and the Gainesville Police Department. The SF Counseling Center even brought Beau the Therapy Dog to interact with the students.

Safe Santa Fe activities will continue through Thursday, Sept 7.
