New Library Canvas Tool Helps Enhance Courses

August 25, 2017

August 25, 2017 - Do you teach in Canvas? A new integrated tool provided by the Santa Fe College Lawrence W. Tyree Library, Curriculum Builder, is a way to create reading lists right in Canvas modules. As a SF faculty member, it can be a convenient way to provide access to articles for your students, and may help to lower costs in your course.

Curriculum Builder has a built-in library search that will locate and directly link to most of the eBooks, articles and streaming videos held in the library databases. Because they are part of our holdings, they are free for students and faculty to access and read. You can also add external links and instructional notes to the list and reorder them as you wish.

A video tutorial on Curriculum Builder is available here, and you can read more about it here. There will also be three workshops provided via CT3 during the fall semester for a hands-on look at using this tool. Register for those workshops at the CT3 site.
