Zoos all over the country are honoring Earth Day by hosting the annual Party for the Planet. The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is celebrating April 1 and 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and you are all invited! This year, we are putting a spotlight on unique ecosystems from around the world and the animals that call them home. Enjoy educational activities and crafts focused on habitats from Florida wetlands to rainforests, and animals from all walks of life. Local conservation organizations will be here to teach fun ways we can all conserve and enjoy nature. This event is perfect for the whole family, offering unique opportunities to watch keeper talks and training demonstrations. Make sure to stop and meet some of our animal ambassadors and chat with our zookeepers. Don't miss out on the wildest party of the year!
