SF Fastpitch - Saints Win Double Header against Palm Beach State College

SANTA FE COLLEGE OFFENSE LEADS SAINTS PAST PALM BEACH, 6-1 AND 9-3

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe College Saints (16-7) racked up 15 runs on 27 hits in a double header against Palm Beach State College on the road Thursday afternoon, defeating the Panthers twice, 6-1 and 9-3. SF pounded out 10 extra base hits and stole three bases for good measure.

Autumn Green was dominant in the circle in game one, holding PBSC to two hits over seven innings. She struck out six and walked none.

Shailynn Morales finished the first half of the double dip with two hits, three RBI, and a run scored. Adrix Paradizo-Ramos and Bailee Moll had two hits each.

Game two was all Santa Fe as they scored in five of the seven innings. Kaylan Tucker, Brielle Morichetti, and Paola Flores combined to hold the Panthers to three runs on five hits. Tucker took the win for SF.

Haissette Escudero led the offense going 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two doubles, and a RBI. Bailee Moll was 2-for-2 with four RBI and a run scored. Natalia Belinger and Evelyn Arguelles had two hits each.

The Saints will begin Mid-Florida Conference play on Saturday, March 11 on the road at Daytona State College. The double header is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM
