Gainesville, FL – On their bye week from Mid-Florida Conference play, the Santa Fe College Saints picked up two convincing wins over Macomb CC (Warren, Michigan) 14-2 and 8-0.

Danny DiMare led the offensive onslaught in game one, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a triple, and three RBI. Brandon Hernandez and Alex Goebel had two hits each and Wyatt Meisterhans finished with three RBI. Santa Fe scored 14 runs on 12 hits.

Five pitchers combined to allow just one earned run and struck out nine. Leo Rodriguez earned the win.

Game two was all Santa Fe (19-7, 2-1 MFC) once again. Stephen Smith was a perfect 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI. Zuriel Collins, Leo Ridriguez, Alex Goebel, and Dillon Reed had two hits each. As a team SF had 16 hits in the 8-0 win.

Kyle Morton earned the win with two scoreless innings. Three other pitchers combined on seven strikeouts and a shut out.

The Saints will be back in action March 11 for the start of a three game series on the road at St. John's River State College (18-9, 3-0 MFC) at 1:00 PM.
