SF MEN'S BASKETBALL SAINTS DROP ROAD MFC GAME TO FSC-J, 81-71

Gainesville, FL – Florida State College-Jacksonville used a big run at the end of the first half to erase a double digit Santa Fe College lead, in route to a 81-71 win over the Saints in Jacksonville.

SF (14-8, 1-3 MFC) led by as many as 10 in the first half, but the Bluewave used a 19-2 run towards the end of the half to take a 38-31 lead at the half.

The Saints fought back to start the second half and tie the score before another run by FSC-J pushed the lead back to eight.

Santa Fe was not able to get it any closer and the Bluewave closed out the 10 point victory.

David-Lee Jones led the Saints with 18 points, Nick Grier had 14, and D-Juan Taylor Hodge scored 10.

The Saints will try to get back to their winning ways on Wednesday, February 1 when they host Daytona State College at 8:00 PM.
