SF FASTPITCH SAINTS MAKE QUICK WORK OF UNIVERSIDAD DE PUERTO RICO, 14-0 AND 14-0

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe College (4-1) offense was in full force Sunday afternoon in the Saints first home double header of the season as SF pounded out 28 runs on 20 hits to pick up two wins. Allison Sievers and Elizabeth Benson combined on a five inning no hitter in game two.

Neither game was in question as the Saints jumped out early and never looked back. In game one Haissette Escuerdo finished with a game high three RBI, and Bailee Moll, Shailynn Morales, Natalia Bellinger, and Adrix Paradizo had two RBI each.

Paola Flores went the distance against the university from her home country, tossing five innings, striking out five.

In game two Kaylan Tucker led the way with four RBI, Escuerdo had another three RBI, Moll finished with two, and Morales had two.

The Saints will take about a week off before returning to action on the road at Hillsborough CC on Feb. 7 at 4:00 and 6 p.m.
