SF FASTPITCH AUTUMN GREEN INKS WITH KEISER UNIVERSITY

Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe sophomore pitcher Autumn Green has signed a scholarship for the 2017-18 season with Keiser University, a NAIA institution in West Palm Beach, SF Coach Chris Ahern recently announced.
Green led the Saints in appearances from the circle with 35 in 2016 and finished with a 10-11 record. She struck out 101 in 139.1 innings pitched.
The Keiser Seahawks are coached by former Santa Fe head coach Terri Knecht and compete in The Sun Conference. Former Saints player Geena Capitini is a graduate assistant.
"Autumn will do a good job for Keiser, and we are pleased she will be playing for the former Saints Head Coach," said current Head Coach Chris Ahern. "She has matured as a player and we expect her to continue contributing to our pitching staff this year. She is a great teammate, a very good student, and will do whatever is asked of her. We wish her great success both this season and in her future role at Keiser."
