SF WOMEN DEFEAT TALLAHASSEE 85-83; MEN FALL TO THE EAGLES 74-59

Both the Santa Fe women and the men were on the road at Tallahassee Community College (TCC) on Tuesday afternoon to battle the always tough Eagles in their home gym.
The SF women (3-2) started things off with a big win over TCC, handing the Eagles their first loss of the season.
Santa Fe overcame 31 turnovers to knock off the FCSAA #3 ranked Tallahassee CC Eagles thanks to 19 points from Corey Staples and 18 from Ari Emanuel-Wright. Rayven Wade was a force down low, chipping in nine points and a game high 12 rebounds. Moneisha Goldsborough was clutch off the bench scoring 11 and Tabitha Odabe also had 11.
The Saints next game will be at home on Saturday, November 19 at 4 p.m. against South Georgia Technical College.
The Santa Fe men (2-3) were unable to overcome a slow start and fell 75-59 to the #3 ranked Eagles. TCC built up a 37-19 lead at the break, stifling the Saints offense and forcing 10 turnovers through the first 20 minutes. The Santa Fe offense came alive in the second half, and got as close as 10 points late in the game.
Sean Dinkins led SF with 16 points, David-Lee Jones had 15, and D-Juan Taylor-Hodge had 14.
Santa Fe will be back at home on Friday, November 18 against Impact Academy at 5 p.m.
