November 14, 1992 – Santa Fe College President Larry Tyree was named "Community College President of the Year".
November 14, 2001 – Dr. Tyree presided over his last graduation ceremony as President of Santa Fe College after a 12-year tenure.
November 14, 2001 – The new library was dedicated in honor of Santa Fe College outgoing president Dr. Tyree. The 60,000 square-foot library cost is estimated to be $9.7 million and replaced the then current library that was in operation since 1978. The library was equipped with internet access throughout the building for the fist time in a library on Santa Fe's campus. This gave the library's visitors electronic resources around the world.
November 16, 1994 – The Santa Fe College Charles L. Blount Downtown Center was dedicated during a naming ceremony. Blount lead the fundraising drive that enabled Santa Fe co renovate the former seaboard Coast Line Railroad depot and offer a full schedule of classes in Downtown Gainesville.
November 16, 1968 – Two-year work-study program in X-ray Tech allowed for a student to earn as much $135 a month while carrying a regular academic load.
November 17, 1994 – Santa Fe College Ponders expansion of downtown campus.
November 18, 1987 – The new Santa Fe College parking lot is completed without the sacrifice of trees.
November 19, 1976 – Mickle was named to Santa Fe Trustees post. He is the first African American in the position.
November 19, 1993 – $10,000 goes to Santa Fe College's minority scholarship fund.
