CENTRAL FLORIDA DEFEATS SAINTS IN OCALA (25-16, 25-20, 25-19)
October 26, 2016
In their final Mid-Florida Conference game of the season on Tuesday evening, the Saints fell to MFC champs the College of Central Florida in straight sets 25-16, 25-20, 25-19. Although not the most successful night on the court for the Saints, Coach Nick Cheronis saw some bright spots, and some things to build on as the team prepares for the FCSAA Tournament.
"We did have 11 blocks, but in the end, we have to find more kills to compete at this level," said Cheronis. "Good news is we have some time before the FCSAA Tournament to find our way."
Nadine Williams led the team with eight kills, Sheyanne Sullivan had six, and Ashton Marshall led the team with 15 digs.
The Saints (15-9, 6-4 MFC) will wrap up their regular season on Saturday, October 29 against Miami Dade College in Daytona.
