THE JOY OF FLYING (DRONES)
Wonder what the real scoop is with drones? In this course we will discuss all the groundwork
you need to safely be a drone pilot both at the recreational level and under the commercial guidelines of FAA Part 107.
We will integrate hands-on experience with classroom material.
Instructor: Dr. Daniel Oakley
7 Tuesdays, begins 11/1, 6:15 pm-8:15 pm,

Fee $69.00
Notes: This class is open to all levels of drone enthusiasts from novice to experienced pilots (1-5 lbs. weight).
If you have a drone bring it, but if not that's OK, the instructor will bring some for you to use.
About the instructor: Dr. Daniel Oakley is a FAA Certified pilot with over 27 years of aviation experience and has accumulated hundreds of hours of flight and ground instructor experience.
BIRD WATCHING
Develop your skill in identifying the birds in our region. Whether you are a beginner or have some
experience in bird watching, this field course will increase your knowledge of our feathered friends.
This class is taught by a variety of our local birding experts. The last class will be a trip to Cedar Key and
lasts until 2 p.m.
