Movie Screening: "No Letting Go" presented by Meridian Behavioral Healthcare
October 24, 2016
One in 5 children experience mental illness yet only 20% of those children ever receive treatment. Meridian Behavioral Healthcare presents a public screening of "No Letting Go", a story of a child with mental illness. The film tackles the effects of mental illness on a family and their journey in taking first steps to wellness.
Based on the screenwriter's own personal experience, "No Letting Go" tells the story of Timothy Spencer and his family as signs of anxiety turn into something far more troubling. Faced with the growing reality that Timothy's needs are more than his family can provide, his parents seek to understand how they can help Timothy while maintaining their family structure.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Meridian's ongoing efforts to provide integrated care to families right here in our community through Meridian's Center for Building Healthy Families. With your support, wellness is within everyone's reach.
