50 Years United!
October 17, 2016
Dear Santa Fe Colleagues,
Victor Brennan and I would like to ask you to consider contributing to the College's United Way Campaign, 50 Years United. Since funds are invested locally, this is an excellent way for individuals and organizations to influence our community and make it a better place to live, learn, and work. The United Way funds more than 35 programs with 23 local agencies, including the Boys & Girls Club, Catholic Charities, Early Learning Coalition, Girls Place, and Reichert House.
Through the years, SF has had a strong record of helping the United Way meet the needs of our community. The United Way is an organization that extends kindness and support to many individuals and families, many of whom are facing seemingly insurmountable problems. Please visit the United Way of North Central Florida's website for more information on the incredible services they provide for our community: http://www.unitedwayncfl.org/our-impact
To recognize those who complete donation pledges of $24, or $1 per pay period, each person will receive a commemorative water bottle with our SF 50 Years United logo.
The drawing for an iPad Mini for all those who contribute at least $24, or $1 per pay period, will be held on Monday, December 5. Lauren Poe, last year's iPad recipient, will be drawing the winner for the 2016 United Way campaign.
Finally, you may donate $5 at the SF Bookstore for an opportunity to have your name in the drawing to win a Solano Scooter ($799 value)!
Please consider completing the pledge form you received in your campus mailbox. In the enclosed envelope, please send your completed donation form to Ramona Mount in F-41. All donation forms are due by Friday, December 2, 4:00 PM.
Thank you,
Doug Bagby and Victor Brennan
