Santa Fe Career and Technical Education Celebrates Citizenship

Wendy Hofer and Monica Cabrera both became naturalized citizens of the United States this summer. Hofer came from England in 1973 to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she met her future husband who works as an electrician at Shands. She completed all requirements for citizenship and took the oath on June 23, 2016.

Cabrera entered the U. S. in 2008 and later met and married Francisco Lopez who is the property manager at Santa Fe College. Monica became a naturalized citizen on August 25, 2016. Both Wendy and Monica work in the Career and Technical Perkins Programs Office.
