New Inter-cultural Faculty Workshop
April 28 at 8:40 a.m.
Santa Fe College has students from over 94 nations and many different cultures within
the United States. What assumptions might we take into the classroom as we teach?
In this new workshop, participants will examine and discuss multicultural considerations
with respect to teaching and learning.
This workshop will be held on May 4, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the Northwest Campus in S-141. This workshop will be co-facilitated by Dr. Kalpana Swamy, Chair in the Department of Student Development and Instruction, and Andrew Sheppard, Instructional Designer in CT3 – Center for Teaching, Technology and Training.
