Saints of Santa Fe College - Ben Boukari
April 1, 2016
April 1, 2016 - Ben Boukari enrolled in classes at Santa Fe College in the fall of 2007 and graduated with an A.A. in the spring of 2009 with a focus on business. Ben went on to attend St. Leo University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2012.
"Santa Fe College was my school of choice because of the fantastic reputation that this fine institution holds," Ben said. "I would learn through my studies that Santa Fe College deserves more than the reputation that is represented. The educational atmosphere and small classroom sizes is conducive to a productive learning environment."
Santa Fe College helped Ben grow personally and professionally, and he applies the principles he learned in his courses at SF to real life.
In 2010, Ben was elected to the City of Alachua Commission where he put the techniques he learned in Pat Breslin's public speaking class to work. Ben found his niche as a Realtor and continues to be professional, communicate effectively and work extremely hard.
"The one thing that people need to know about Santa Fe College is that they care," Ben said. "I enjoyed every class I took, every instructor who taught. I didn't ace every class, but I learned so much. They truly care about the students they are teaching. I'm thankful for my time at Santa Fe College. Go Saints!"
