Archer Elementary students visit the Davis Center
February 8, 2016
Fourth- and fifth-grade students at Archer Elementary visited the Davis Center on Friday, Feb. 5, to learn about colleges and careers. Jade Salamone, the Conservation and Education Specialist for the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo, and Tom Mason, the advisor for Construction and Technical Programs, came out to speak with the students about some of the unique career opportunities available through Santa Fe College.
Ryan Keith, an assistant professor of Psychology, also led a class where the students learned about sensation and perception. In addition to participating in fun class sessions, these young students also took part in a campus tour and learned about what they can start doing now to prepare for college and careers.
