Join us for the Financial Literacy Festival
October 21, 2015
Next week, the Student Finance Club in collaboration with the Financial Aid Office will be putting on our first joint Financial Literacy Fest! As always, our aim is to help students learn the best ways to handle their money so what better way is there than games and contests. Please read on to see all the fun happenings we have planned.
Write on our Financial Confessions Walls:
"Don't do what I did" and "My Best Financial Advice is"
Dress up like a millionaire and take some fun photos in our Photo Booth.
Take a stroll through our version of "The Game of Life." Each player starts the game
with a $3,000 financial aid disbursement. They will then make financial decisions,
such as where to live, whether or not to go out with friends or on an elaborate spring
break vacation, etc. The goal of the game is to make your money last throughout the
term and have some left over at the end.
