SF Students seeks your support in the fight against breast cancer

October 12, 2015

Hello, my name is Masciel Irizarry and I am a student in the Organizational Management Bachelor's Program at Santa Fe College and a member of the business management student organization. We are a group of students who want to become leaders in the business world during and after college. Our aim is to provide students with the opportunity to sharpen their leadership skills while attending college. We strive to help build the leaders of tomorrow, today.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I am very excited because our organization signed up for the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The American Cancer Society is a leader in helping to finish the fight against breast cancer. They are doing the most to help those touched by breast cancer in every community today and are working to find cures to end the disease tomorrow. By walking in and fundraising for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, we are doing our part to help finish the fight.

Why am I telling you this? Because when you support our team with a donation, the American Cancer Society will be able to help more people in more communities touched by breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it is most treatable. Every dollar raised will help finish the fight against breast cancer. We have 16 days left until this event. Please consider supporting us with a donation.
