Volunteers needed for SF waste audit Oct. 7
September 30, 2015
Under the guidance of Alachua County Waste Alternatives, students, faculty and staff are needed to help sort a sampling of campus trash on Oct. 7, for our Waste Audit. These audits are conducted to better understand the types of waste SF produces and steps the college could take to improve our own recycling and waste management.
The audit will be held in parking lot 7, behind Building D. It begins at 9 a.m. and
runs until all the trash is sorted as weather permits, or until about 3 p.m. Volunteers
are needed throughout the day.
