Jesse Dávila | Supported By Fiction opens Oct. 16

September 28, 2015

Santa Fe College and The President's Hall Gallery are proud to present Supported By Fiction, a collection of photographic works by Santa Fe College student Jesse Dávila. This unique exhibition highlights Dávila's perspective on the human experience and our day to day wanderings.

Speaking of the work Dávila says, "Blinders on, humanity meanders through life rarely stopping to question itself, its motivations, its legacy. Society is partitioned along these experiential lines and empathy becomes an all but impossible ideal. We are lied to by senses and which are supported by fiction."

The artist will host a small reception on Friday, Oct., 16, 6 – 8 p.m. in the exhibit space. Supported By Fiction will be on display in the Presidents' Hall through Oct. 30. The President's Hall is located on the second floor of the Robertson Administration Building, and open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
